Uri Hofi Blacksmithing School Trip
April 1 - 8, 2006

CANCELLED

Dean Curfman of Big Blu Hammer Manufacturing is hosting a learning experience to Israel in April 2006. The group plans to depart from Charlotte, NC. Please let us know if you are interested.

The purpose of the trip:

To truly meet Un Hofi in his own environment and get a hands on experience of the Uri Hofi system of Artist Blacksmithing.

Who is Uri Hofi?

Uri Hofi is a free thinking artist blacksmith that in two decades has moved beyond outdated traditional blacksmithing and introduced innovated techniques that both quicken the process and allow only the imagination and skill of the artist to govern the results achieved. Uri is a superb teacher who will open the eyes and the mind of anyone interested in working with hot iron as a medium of expressed art.

Uri Hofi and Dean have been working together to maximize the learning experience with the barest minimum of overall cost. A flat fee will cover round trip airfare, all meals, housing accommodations, and travel movement in Israel. To do this it is imperative that the group maintains togetherness from start to finish.

Uri Hofi will personally meet the group at the airport in Israel and provide transportation to the location of Uri's operation.

This is not a sightseeing tour. Take work clothes along. Uri Hofi is a good host. He will take good care of everyone involved. The minimum number that can go is six and maximum number is ten.
